With a change of ownership, the tea room has undergone a major transformation, including a redesign of its reception area and kitchens. Now designed to appeal to an international clientele, the establishment embraces an artistic direction inspired by the golden age of French artistic and decorative heritage. The new concept offers a true immersion in the hushed and intimate world of Belle Époque cafés, while also evoking the refinement of the dining cars that were all the rage in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The ambiance is intended to be mysterious, chic, and elegant. Silky draperies combine with the noble coolness of the stone, in a play of contrasts subtly enhanced by soft, enveloping lighting. The space fosters close and meaningful conversations, rather than noise and crowds, offering a sweet respite from the hustle and bustle of the City of Lights.
